Welcome to Portland Poly

Welcome to PortlandPoly.org, intended to be the "one stop shopping" information site for all the polyamory groups, events, and resources in Portland, Oregon.

We've only just launched the site, but we invite everyone to help contribute and grow it!

Why this site?

Portland has a very active poly (and poly-friendly) community, but it can be very hard to find out about it. There are quite a number of groups that are either directly or indirectly part of the local poly community, but they are somewhat splintered and you might never hear about some of them until someone happens to mention one! So this site was created to serve a few purposes:

• Be a sign post for the newcomer or poly-curious person to find local resources for them to connect through
• To provide a centralized place for each of those groups to announce their presence, and their events.
• To begin the process of reunifying the local poly community. Portland has literally thousands of poly or poly-curious people, but most are off in little chunks that may not even realize how large we are collectively.

An Invitation

So please, poke around the site, look to see if anything interests you. And if you know of any happenings or groups not mentioned here, please submit them! We also welcome help with maintaining this site, which we want to keep as community-directed and supported.
